Does Aspen Heights Amherst offer individual leases or are we responsible for the whole apartment?
Aspen Heights Amherst offers whole-apartment or “joint” leases. While we recommend finding your own roommates, we are happy to add you to our informal roommate-matching list. Be sure to apply online together as a group and not on separate applications.
Do you provide a roommate matching service if we don’t have enough people to sign a lease?
Aspen Heights Amherst offers an informal roommate matching service. Simply give the name and contact details for one of the household members, along with dates and preferences, to our Leasing Office and we will connect you with any interested roommates.
Do you allow pets?
Aspen Heights Amherst allows up to 2 indoor cats! If you would like further information, please call the Aspen Heights phone number on the website.
Is there pet rent?
Yes, there is a $30 per month Pet Rent for up to 2 indoor cats.
Does Aspen Heights Amherst have a private shuttle?
Yes! We are the only property in the area to offer a private dedicated shuttle from our front door to UMass, Downtown, and local shopping centers. The shuttle runs on UMass school days every half hour 7:00AM – 7:00PM, during Spring and Fall semesters.
How long are your leases?
Our leases are 12-month agreements with the option to renew annually. Subleasing is permitted as long as the incoming resident applies and is approved by management. Contact the Leasing Office for further information and requirements.
Are the apartments furnished?
Aspen Heights Amherst apartments are not furnished. However, we recommend exploring the many furniture and home supply rental options, including discounted student packages, available at CORT.com
What utilities are included in my rent?
All utilities, high-speed wireless internet, and trash & recycling services are included in your rent.
Does Aspen Heights have on-site maintenance?
Yes, Aspen Heights has an on-site maintenance staff that works hard to respond and resolves any maintenance issues within four hours!
Does Aspen Heights have on-site management?
Yes, Aspen Heights has an on-site management team here to help you with whatever you need! An after-hours concierge security officer is also available when the management team is not on site.
